He married Hester Bush in Chewton Mendip, Somerset, England, 03/1780. Hester was the daughter of Joshua Bush and Hannah York.

Gideon Loxton and Hester Bush had the following children:

3 ii. Betty Loxton was born in East Harptree, Somerset, England 23/09/1787. She married Benjamin Withey 05/1808.

4 iii. Gideon Loxton was born in Priddy, Somerset, England 9/05/1790.

5 iv. George Loxton was born in East Harptree, Somerset, England 24/12/1795. He married Mary Dando.
