He married Amelia Wyatt in Registered Clutton Dec 1847, Vol 11, Page 115, 1847.

Francis Dix and Amelia Wyatt had the following child:

4 i. Emma³ Dix was born in West Harptree, Somerset, England 1852. Emma died 30/10/1926 in West Harptree, Somerset, England, at 74 years of age.⁽¹⁾ She married Mark Norman in Bristol, England, 15/05/1871. Mark was born in West Harptree, Somerset, England 11/07/1840. Mark was the son of Joseph Norman and Eliza Ann Withey. Mark died 29/03/1917 in West Harptree, Somerset, England, at 76 years of age. (See Mark Norman for the continuation of this line.)
